If you notice any of these, get it looked at early — most transmission problems get more expensive the longer they’re driven on.

Most rebuilds take three to five working days depending on parts availability and the model. Diagnostics and smaller repairs are often same-day or next-day. We’ll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote.

Yes — Hilux, Ranger, Triton, Navara, Prado, LandCruiser and similar are regular work for us, including towing and off-road use where transmissions run hotter and wear faster.

As a general guide, every 40,000–60,000 km, and more often if you tow, carry heavy loads or do a lot of stop-start driving. Check your logbook for the manufacturer’s interval. Regular fluid and filter changes are the cheapest insurance against a rebuild.
